The Sacred Clearing

The Sacred Clearing is an immersive virtual reality (VR) experience that explores the mystery of places we inhabit. Donning a VR headset, the user enters a forest scene that serves as a portal to the underworld. The user can engage with their surroundings through physical movement and hand controllers. The Sacred Clearing is part of a larger work that envisions a series of spaces sacred to the artist as part of a network of ancient necromantic portals woven into our media environments.
